Sodastream F**K Plastic Bottles - Shame or Glory
“Shame or Glory” was a global smash that turned eco-awareness into pure entertainment.
Starring Thor Björnsson (The Mountain) and Hannah Waddingham (Septa from Game of Thrones), we echoed the iconic “Shame” scene—only this time, the sinner is a guy polluting the planet by lugging plastic water bottles.
The video exploded with 714,000 views and over 8,500 shares in the first 16 hours , after published on Facebook. Within 48 hours, we hit 3.4 million views with 31,000 shares, including shoutouts from Jon Snow (yes, that Jon Snow), Arya Stark, and even Snoop Dogg, whose post added another 750,000 views and 1,400 shares.
The campaign hit 10 million views in just 24 hours, with media outlets like Mashable, MTV, Gizmodo, Addweek, and Newsweek jumping on board. It didn’t stop there: users joined the debate on the campaign’s hilarious website, choosing between Shame vs. Glory, making sure the message was clear - F**k plastic bottles!
The video continued the Heavy Bubbles campaign from earlier that year, both starring Björnsson and driving home the same message— F**k plastic bottles!
